HOUSTON – The US Gulf of Mexico rig count remains at 27, according to the Baker Hughes Weekly Rig Count of Mar. 18, 2016.
That number is the same as reported in the company’s weekly rig count ofMar. 11, 2016; and is down 10 rigs year over year.
The company also reported that the overall US rig count as down four rigs from last week to 476, with oil rigs up one to 387, and gas rigs down five to 89.
The overall US rig count is down 593 rigs from last year at 1,069, with oil rigs down 438, gas rigs down 153, and miscellaneous rigs down by two.
