CALGARY, Canada – Ithaca Energy has become operator of the Cook field in the UK central North Sea following the recent completion of Shell and ExxonMobil’s sale of the AnasuriaFPSO and associated field interests.
This yearIthaca anticipates average production from its North Sea fields of 9,000 boe/d (95% oil).
This takes into account restricted production rates for the Shell-operated Pierce field due to the need to complete remedial works on the subsea gas injection flowline, and reduced production from the EnQuest-operated Dons fields for execution of a well chemical treatment campaign.
As for Ithaca’sGreater Stella Area development, sail-away of the FPF-1 floating platform from the Remontowa Shipyard in Poland should occur in May or June, probably followed by first hydrocarbons this summer.
