HELSINKI, the Netherlands – Wärtsilä has signed a 10-year maintenance agreement with semisubmersible accommodation vessels provider Prosafe.

This covers the diesel engines onboard the company’s newbuild flotelSafe Boreas. Wärtsilä expects to sign further agreements this year for Prosafe’s three other new flotels Safe Notos, Safe Zephyrus, and Safe Eurus.

The agreement includes supply of spare parts, maintenance, online support and assistance, and provision of components from the new Wärtsilä Genius services portfolio CBM to optimize performance of the diesel engines.

With CBM, Wärtsilä specialists monitor and analyze various engine parameters and plan maintenance in relation to an engine’s lifecycle and actual condition.
