Sea Trucks to support Saipem FPSO modifications in Brazil

Sea Trucks Group has won its first contract in Brazil. Sea Trucks will provide accommodation support services to Saipem including lifting operations, storage support, and logistic support for modifications of an FPSO.

ROTTERDAM, the Netherlands– Sea Trucks Group has won its first contract in Brazil. Sea Trucks will provide accommodation support services to Saipem including lifting operations, storage support, and logistic support for modifications of an FPSO.
The group selected its DP-3 accommodation support vessel,Jascon 28, for the work. The vessel, which has recently been upgraded, has a 270-ton capacity main crane and will be connected to the FPSO via its 42.5-m (139-ft) hydraulic heave compensated telescopic gangway.
The work is scheduled to start in 3Q 2015, with the contract set for a minimum period of four months.
