Offshore staff
HOUSTON – Woodside Energy has awarded OneSubsea a front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract for the proposed Browse FLNG development offshore northwest Australia.
A OneSubsea team, operating from the company’s office in Perth, will work with Woodside to define and determine the project’s optimal subsea production system design and equipment requirements.
Up to 20 locally employed personnel will work on the subsea scope over the next 12 to 18 months as Woodside prepares for a final investment decision.
In 2013,OneSubsea opened a life-of-field facility in Kewdale, Western Australia, to support Woodside and other operators in the region. This facility will be involved in development of the campaign.
