LONDON – Tullow Oil says oil production from the Jubilee field offshore Ghana averaged around 105,000 b/d during the first half of 2015.
Commissioning of the associatednew onshore gas processing facility was completed in March and gas exports from Jubilee have since averaged around 80 MMcf/d.
Tullow adds that drilling has started of J-37, the first of two planned additionalPhase 1A wells on Jubilee.
Work also continues to incorporate the Mahogany, Teak, and Akasa discoveries in the Greater Jubilee full field development plan, which the partners aim to submit to Ghana’s government by year-end.
Thedeepwater TEN project remains within budget and on schedule for first oil in mid-2016, Tullow adds. Milestones achieved this spring included running of the first two of 10 well completions; installation of the turret on the bow of the FPSO; first in-country fabrication works made ready for the start of the offshore installation campaign in mid-July; and preparations for subsea manifolds and umbilicals to be delivered from the US.
