DUBAI, UAE – Dubai Petroleum (DP) has awarded RWG two maintenance contracts covering overhaul of Siemens aero-derivative industrial gas generators used offshore.
The scope includes work on Industrial RB211 24 GT and Industrial Avon 1535-200 gas generators, requiring full disassembly, inspection and repair or replacement of unserviceable components.
Following reassembly, both gas generators will be subject to a comprehensive performance test, before returning to service offshore.
DP’s Siemens equipment is used for gas compression and water flood applications. In recent years the operator has implemented a phased program of investment in its generator fleet, making use of the latest available technology to optimize operational performance and efficiency.
