ROVOP expands with Houston office

ROVOP has launched its Western Hemisphere headquarters and support base in Houston.

ABERDEEN, UK - ROVOP has launched its Western Hemisphere headquarters and support base in Houston.

The facility is located in northwest Houston on a 1.5 acre site, which includes a 4,500-sq ft (418-sq m) office and 17,300-sq ft (1,607-sq m) workshop, where the company will manage its fleet ofFMC Schilling Robotics and SAAB Seaeye ROVs. 

Additionally, it has appointed threeROV industry professionals to lead the business: Houston Managing Director Scott Wagner, Vice President Brett Eychner, and Wayne Betts. Each individual spent more than 20 years with Oceaneering International.

In addition tofive vessel-based ROV systems already contracted in the region, ROVOP has invested in two complete ROV spreads geared toward deepwater vessel and rig support applications.
