HOUSTON – ConocoPhillips' (NYSE: COP) Omosi-1 deepwater exploration well in block 37 offshore Angola in the Kwanza basin has been drilled to a TD of 20,666 ft (6,299 m). A gas column of approximately 525 ft (160 m) was encountered in the primary objective reservoir.
No further activity is planned. The well has been P&A'd.
In thedeepwater Gulf of Mexico, the Harrier prospect in Mississippi Canyon 118 has reached TD of 19,400 ft (5,913 m). No commercial hydrocarbons were encountered. The well also will be P&A'd.
