MOSCOW --Gazprom has entered into agreements with Eni, Wintershall, and EDF to acquire their combined 50% holding in South Stream Transport.
This is a joint project company formed to construct the offshore section of the South Stream gas pipeline through the Black Sea. Russia recently decided to shelve the scheme as a result of sanctions and changing market conditions.
