ARENDAL, Norway – Sevan Marine says it is working on studies for cylindrical-shaped floating systems for five development projects.
One is pre-front-end engineering and design (pre-FEED) for Shell’sPenguins field in the UK northern North Sea. Another is for the FEED phase for the Premier-operated Bream field in the Norwegian North Sea.
The other studies are for potential FSOs for theBentley and Culzean fields in the UK northern and central North Sea, and an FPSO for Premier’s Sea Lion in the offshore North Falkland basin.
Premier and partner Rockhopper had previously considered a TLP and FSO for Sea Lion.
