HOUSTON – Croatia has received six bids in an international tender for oil and gas exploration areas in the Adriatic Sea, according to Reuters.
Economy Minister Ivan Vrdoljak said on Nov. 3 that the government would choose the best bids by the end of the year and sign concession agreements by the spring of 2015. While Vrdoljak did not name the bidders, Reuters noted that local media had earlier reported oil majors such asExxon, Shell, Chevron, and Total as being among the interested bidders.
