HOUSTON–Sea Trucks Group Ltd. has secured $130 million in financing to complete construction of the Jascon 18 vessel.
Jascon 18, a 150-m (492-ft) DP-3 multi-purpose construction support vessel, will continue the final stages of outfitting at the Kwong-Soon shipyard in Singapore, where work on the accommodation blocks, cabling, piping, and installation of an 1,800-ton main crane. The vessel is expected to be delivered in 3Q 2015.
The vessel will add an ultra-deep and deepwater project capable vessel to the existing global DP-3 fleet, complemented by vessels from Sea Trucks’West African bases.
