Nido to spud Gobi-1 well offshore Indonesia

Nido Petroleum Ltd. advises that Lundin Gurita BV, operator of the Gurita PSC offshore Indonesia, has informed the joint venture that the rig for the Gobi-1 well will be available to the JV in early October.

PERTH, Australia – Nido Petroleum Ltd. (ASX: NDO) advises that Lundin Gurita BV, operator of the Gurita PSC offshore Indonesia, has informed the joint venture that the rig for the Gobi-1 well will be available to the JV in early October.

As a result, Nido now expects to spud the well in mid-October. Nido has a 10% working interest in the Gurita PSC.
