TEHRAN, Iran – Gas produced from the South Pars field in the Persian Gulf has increased 14% during March to September, compared with the corresponding period last year.
Managing director of the South Pars gas complex told news service Shana that the extra volumes were worth more than $1.2 billion.
During the same six-month period, gas/condensateproduction increased by 12.5% while propane and butane production increased 272% and 59%, respectively.
At the same time, sour gas injection into Iran’s Gas Trunkline-5 increased 78%.
