SANDNES, Norway – Eni Norge has contracted IKM Testing for services on the Goliat field development in the Barents Sea.
The three-year contract, which has extension options for up to four more years, is valued at more than $79 million.
IKM will perform subsea engineering and work on the cylindricalGoliat FPSO, before and after the field comes onstream next year.
Commissioning is under way, including completion of subsea pipelines. During the production phase, IKM Testing will undertake duties related to maintenance, inspection, and pressure testing.
