MYANMAR, Thailand - PTTEP Exploration and Production Co. Ltd. (PTTEP) commenced gas exports of the Zawtika project, an offshore field in Thailand. The field produces natural gas and condensate.
The field, situated in blocks M9 and small northeast part of M11 in Myanmar’sGulf of Martaban, is currently ramping up production to a rate of 240 MMcf/d. Zawtika began delivering natural gas for domestic use in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in March, at a rate of about 60 MMcf/d.
