Offshore staff
ZOETERMEER, the Netherlands – HSM Offshore has contracted Seaway Heavy Lifting to transport and install the A18 satellite platform at Chevron’s A18 field in the Dutch North Sea.
The location is roughly 300 km (186 mi) north of Den Helder.
The platform, to be installed next summer, will comprise a 1,400-metric ton (1,543-ton) skirt pile jacket and a 1,100-metric ton (1,212-ton) deck, which will be fabricated at HSM’s fabrication yard in Schiedam north of Rotterdam.
Seaway’s 2,500-metric ton (2,756-ton) crane vesselStanislav Yudin will perform the offshore installation.
