Statoil has shut down production on the Troll C platform in the Norwegian North Sea, after an inspection program identified damage to a pipe connected to the oil export system.

STAVANGER, Norway – Statoil has shut down production on the Troll C platform in the Norwegian North Sea, after an inspection program identified damage to a pipe connected to the oil export system.
The corroded pipe will be replaced. The shutdown should last around one week.
Troll C handles production from the Troll field and the satellite Fram field.
