WEST PERTH, Australia – The M/VPolar Duchess has completed the 1,528-sq km (590-sq mi) Junon 3D seismic survey offshore the Seychelles for operator Ophir Energy.
According to partner WHL Energy, the vessel is demobilizing from the survey area.
Acquisition of the data took 36 days. The results will be processed with an initial fasttrack processed data due to be delivered in September followed by a PreSTM processed volume in December.
The survey is designed to mature numerous prospects fordrilling on the Junon trend in the east of the partners’ Seychelles acreage (Junon South, Junon East, and Junon Central).
