CNOOC, Primeline start up Lishui offshore China

HONG KONG – CNOOC has started production from the Lishui 36-1 gas field. The location is 150 km (93 mi) from Wenzhou city Zhejiang province, in an average water depth of 84 m (275 ft).

Investments included a production platform, four production wells, and a subsea pipeline connected to a processing terminal. The gas is sold to Zhejiang Gas, the owner and operator of the Zhejiang Provincial Gas Grid.

CNOOC operates with a 51% interest in partnership with Primeline Energy China and Primeline Petroleum Corp.
