AMEC to work on design for Sea Lion platform offshore the Falklands

Premier Oil has awarded a front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract to AMEC for the TLP for the Sea Lion oilfield development in the offshore North Falkland basin.

LONDON -- Premier Oil has awarded a front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract to AMEC for the TLP for the Sea Lion oilfield development in the offshore North Falkland basin.

Results from a forthcoming geotechnical survey at theSea Lion location will be incorporated into the FEED process, which will likely take around a year to complete.
