HOUSTON– McDermott International Inc. (NYSE: MDR) has announced that a consortium, which includes subsidiaries of McDermott and PT Encona Inti Industri, is the successful bidder for an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for the Gendalo-Gehem natural gas development offshore East Kalimantan, Indonesia.
OperatorChevron awarded the FEED package for the development to Technip and Worley Parsons in July 2012.
Award of the contract will be subject to various conditions, including government and regulatory approvals, and final investment decision.
