Offshore staff
OSLO, Norway – Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has approved ConocoPhillips’ decommissioning program on the Ekofisk field in the southern Norwegian North Sea.
Plans involve removal and final disposal of accommodation and office modules from Ekofisk 2/4Q in theEkofisk offshore complex in development license 018. Water depth at the Ekofisk field is 70-75 m (229-246 ft).
Activity is expected to start this month.
