HOUSTON – Endeavour International has issued an update on its ongoing UK central North Sea development projects.
At the Apache-operated Bacchus field, the B3Y well will be converted to a water injector providing pressure support to help sustain production and increase overall recovery.
At Rochelle, gas/liquids production from the East Rochelle (E2) well, which came onstream at the end of February, has been lower than expected due to gas compression capacity constraints on the host Scott platform caused by unexpectedly high gas production rates from the Telford field.
At the end of March, an incident led to a full shutdown of the platform and the shutdown of the Rochelle, Scott, and Telford fields for an investigation and remedial action. Output from Rochelle was restored on April 26.
Partial water injection has been reinstated at the southern part of the Chevron-operated Alba field, and the pipeline should be replaced later this year.
In March, the A68 infill well was brought online and the A69, currently drilling, should follow in June. These measures should lift production from Alba.
