HOUSTON –Caterpillar Oil & Gas has launched its new Cat well stimulation pump for the well service market to complement the company’s existing product portfolio of pressure pumps.
Starting in June 2014, Caterpillar will begin accepting orders for the Cat WS305 XD, a 3,000-bhp (2,237-bkW) quintuplex well stimulation pump.
In addition to offering complete pumps for well service customers, Caterpillar also offers a variety of fluid ends with plunger sizes ranging from 4 in. to 5½ in.
