KrisEnergy sets target for offshore Thailand oil development

KrisEnergy has completed its acquisition of the share capital of MP G10, which it will rename KrisEnergy G10 (Thailand).

SINGAPOREKrisEnergy has completed its acquisition of the share capital of MP G10, which it will rename KrisEnergy G10 (Thailand).

The company will indirectly hold a 100% operating interest in the 4,696-sq km (1,813-sq mi) G10/48 license in theGulf of Thailand, over the southern section of the Pattani basin, in water depths of up to 60 m (197 ft).

KrisEnergy plans to submit a production area application this year for theWassana oil discovery, and aims to produce first oil during 2Q 2015, peaking at 10,000 b/d.
