Offshore staff
STAVANGER, Norway – Statoil has awarded IKM Ocean Design the infield pipelines front-end engineering design contract for the Johan Sverdrup field in the Norwegian North Sea.
The field is around 140 km (87 mi) west of Stavanger, in a water depth of 110-120 m (361-394 ft). It is due to enter production in late 2019.
According to IKM, the main aims are to optimize the field architecture and infield pipeline layout to improve the costs of the development.
