DOF Subsea UK Ltd. has won a contract by Maersk Oil UK to replace the Dumbarton Drill Cluster Centre flexible production riser at the Global Producer 3 FPSO located in block 15/20 in the UK sector of the North Sea.

ABERDEEN, UK – DOF Subsea UK Ltd. has won a contract by Maersk Oil UK to replace the Dumbarton Drill Cluster Centre (DCC) flexible production riser at the Global Producer 3 FPSO located in block 15/20 in the UK sector of the North Sea. The work will take place at a water depth of 140 m (459 ft).
Engineering has begun, with the offshore works scheduled to start in July. DOF Subsea’s long-term chartered construction support vessel,Normand Reach, will support the replacement of the DCC production riser.
The scope of work includes existing riser recovery, existing buoyancy removal, new buoyancy installation, new riser re-installation, and associated surveys.
DOF Subsea will provide all project management and engineering support from its Aberdeen base, along with a team to support riser pull in operations on board theGlobal Producer 3 FPSO.
