Ocean Installer to manage North Sea Dunlin subsea construction

Fairfield Energy has contracted Ocean Installer for dive support and light subsea construction work at the Dunlin field in the UK northern North Sea.

ABERDEEN, UK – Fairfield Energy has contracted Ocean Installer for dive support and light subsea construction work at the Dunlin field in the UK northern North Sea.
The scope includes air diving services on the Dunlin Alpha platform for installation of sleeves, clamps and anodes, along with light construction/inspection and repair tasks.
Ocean Installer will start the offshore work in June using Canyon Offshore’s construction/ROV/survey vesselGrand Canyon.
Dunlin is part of a cluster of fields in blocks 211/18, 211/23, and 211/24 that also comprises Dunlin SW,Osprey, and Merlin. The location is in the East Shetland basin, 500 km (310 mi) north-northeast of Aberdeen.
