ABERDEEN, UK – Maersk Oil UK has awarded Atkins an engineering support contract for three floaters in the North Sea.
TheGryphon FPSO, Global Producer III FPSO and Janice FPU are all set to undergo intensive offshore inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) work this year. Maersk has contracted a dedicated dive support vessel for 365 days to assist the program.
Eight Atkins process engineers will support Maersk in developing the scope, maintenance plans, commissioning procedures, and providing a technical interface between the dive vessel and the offshore facilities.
