DUBAI, UAE – Topaz Energy and Marine achieved 94.5% use of its supply vessel fleet during 2013.
The company committed to add seven newvessels, of which five are to be delivered this year.
Take-up has been particularly strong in theAzeri sector of the Caspian Sea and in the northern Russian sector, where the company has 13 “assets” working on Lukoil’s V. Filanovsky development.
In theMiddle East, Topaz expects further growth in business offshore Qatar and Saudi Arabia due to its strong relationships with Maersk Oil, Occidental, and Saudi Aramco.
The company has 10 vessels operating offWest Africa and was recently awarded a contract to deploy two large platform supply vessels. It will look to assign more vessels to this area during 2014.
