Harkand DSV heads to North Sea for Ninian IRM work

CNR International has contracted subsea inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) specialist Harkand for services in the Ninian area of the UK northern North Sea.

ABERDEEN, UK – CNR International has contracted subsea inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) specialist Harkand for services in the Ninian area of the UK northern North Sea.
Harkand will mobilize the multi-purpose DP-2 dive support vesselHarkand Da Vinci for the program, to be performed this spring. The vessel has been working offshore South Africa for PetroSA, and will undergo modifications and upgrades en route.
The contract scope includes jacket life extension works and IRM services for the Ninian South platform and the Lyell field, 150 km (93 mi) northeast of the Shetland Islands.
