HOUSTON –Paradigm has made its Sysdrill well planning and drilling engineering software available on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud.
Paradigm says deploying the program on the AWS cloud lets users benefit from rapid provisioning, simplified management, and lower cost.
Paradigm will provide multiple levels of support for Sysdrill on the AWS cloud, enabling customers to select their required level of management control.
“The rise of cloud computing is one of the most important macro-trends in IT infrastructure,” said Arshad Matin, president and CEO of Paradigm. “However, E&P software vendors have yet to make its well-recognized benefits available to their customers. Simply put, customers should be able to focus more on the application than on the infrastructure. With today’s announcement, Paradigm takes an important step in enabling customers to do just that.”
Sysdrill has been fully tested and validated for use on AWS. Paradigm says it provides the Deployed Instance option which installs and fully configures Sysdrill for immediate use by customers with outsourced or managed IT policy.
