OSLO, Norway – DNO says the Saleh-8 well has been tied into the company’s existing infrastructure offshore Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, to enable production and pressure monitoring.
Artificial lift studies have started on the partially depleted upper Wasia reservoir.
In December, arig-based workover started on the West Bukha-5 production well on the West Bukha field offshore Oman.
Reprocessing of 3D seismic data and a review of West Bukha’s reservoir model are under way to evaluate potential new drilling targets and additional exploration opportunities in offshore block 8.
Off Tunisia, DNO’s focus this year for the Sfax offshore exploration permit and the Ras El Besh concession in the Gulf of Gabes will include commercialization of existing discoveries and drilling of one exploration well to test additional upside at the Jawhara discovery.
