Bilfinger awarded further Statoil platform maintenance contract

Statoil has contracted Bilfinger Industrier Norge to provide insulation, scaffolding, and painting services on a platform on the Sleipner gas field in the Norwegian North Sea.

MUNICH, Germany -- Statoil has contracted Bilfinger Industrier Norge to provide insulation, scaffolding, and painting services on a platform on the Sleipner gas field in the Norwegian North Sea.

This was an option exercised under a framework contract Statoil signed with Bilfinger for theGudrun oil and gas field development in the same sector.

The new $54-million deal runs from August 1 2014 through Sept. 5 2017, with two two-year extension options.
