NORTH SYDNEY, Australia – ROC Oil expects production to resume soon from the Enoch field in the Norwegian North Sea.

A new tree has been deployed in one of the wells and production testing has been completed. Due to bad weather, however, the drilling rig had to remain at the location until early January.

Offshore Sarawak, ROC is a partner in the Balai Cluster risk-sharing contract. Last month a two-phase development plan was submitted to Petronas for theBentara field.

Currently the partners are seeking approval for Phase I, which is designed to deliver early production using existing wells and facilities established during the pre development phase. These include the Bentara-2 and Bentara-3 wells, the Bentara wellhead platform, and the early production vessel.

ROC Oil expects to secure approval during the current quarter.
