LUXEMBOURG – Dana Petroleum has awarded Subsea 7 a $300-million contract for subsea services on the Western Isles project in the UK North Sea.
The scope includes engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of two 2.5-km (1.6-mi) pipeline bundles and an 11-km (6.8-mi) gas export pipeline.
Work is under way at Subsea 7’s offices in Aberdeen, with offshore activity due to start next year.
