OSLO, Norway – Rocksource plans to participate in three exploration wells offshore Norway next year.
One will target the Pil prospect on license PL 586, with others on PL 659 on the Langlitinden structure, and on PL 528 on the Ivory structure.
The company is looking to firm further drilling opportunities for 2015 onward via a combination of portfolio maturation, applications in Norway’s rolling APA license rounds, and farm-ins/swaps.
Rocksource has to make seven drill-or-drop decisions from its own license portfolio during the first half of 2014.
