Offshore staff
TRONDHEIM, Norway – Det norske oljeselskap has agreed to sell a 10% stake in license PL 659 in the Barents Sea to Atlantic Petroleum Norge.
Exploration drilling is expected to start next month on theLanglitinden gas/oil prospect, 165 km (102 mi) northwest of Hammerfest.
Det norske will remain operator with a 20% interest. Atlantic will carry part of Det norske’s costs for the well.
