LONDON – AMEC has won a $125-million contract for Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Co.’s (ADMA OPCO) Umm Lulu Phase 2 full field development projects offshore United Arab Emirates.
The five-year contract follows a previous award from ADMA OPCO in 2011 for services for the first phase of Umm Lulu and theNasr Phase 1 project.
AMEC’s scope of work includes project management of the local engineering, procurement, and construction contractors constructing the new Umm Lulu offshore complex, comprising six bridge-linked platforms. It will include gathering, separation, gas treatment and water disposal facilities, utilities and accommodation modules.
The company expects to create an additional 100 jobs for this program in Abu Dhabi.
