Second offshore North Sea Rochelle well enters test phase

HOUSTON --Endeavour International says the Rochelle field in the UK central North Sea is currently producing 44 MMcf/d of gas and 2,500 b/d of associated condensate from the W1 well.
At East Rochelle, another tieback to the Scott platform, the E2 well, has reached total depth and completion, and a production test is due to start in the next few days.
E2 should come on-line before year-end, said Endeavour. When fully operational, production from the Rochelle field will likely exceed available handling capacity at Scott.
At the Apache-operatedBacchus field in the same sector, a third production well (B1) was completed in July and the field is currently delivering 13,000 b/d.
Finally, operations re-started at the Chevron-operatedAlba field in mid-September following a scheduled maintenance program.
This addressed concerns water handling, turbine and emulsion concerns and the field is currently ramping back up to full production levels (it recently produced over 25,000 b/d).
Two infield wells drilled earlier in the year were brought back on-line and another platform well should be on production in early 2014.
