Lankhorst to supply mooring spread for Brazil FPSO

SOFEC has contracted Lankhorst Euronete Brazil (LEB) to provide the polyester mooring lines for the FPSO Cidade de Itaguaí MV26.

QUEIMADOS, Brazil --SOFEC has contracted Lankhorst Euronete Brazil (LEB) to provide the polyester mooring lines for the FPSO Cidade de Itaguaí MV26.
This will be deployed in 4Q 2015 in 2,240 m (7,349 ft) of water on theIracema Norte area of the BM-S-11 block, 300 km (186 mi) south of Rio de Janeiro.
The vessel will havecapacity to process 150,000 b/d of oil and 280 MMcf/d of gas, and a storage capacity of 1-6 MMb/d of fluids.
LEB will supply around 75,000 m (246,062 ft) of mooring lines based on its Cabral 512 technology, with 1,200-ton minimum breaking load.
