SHARJAH, UAE – The governments of Sharjah and Ajman have agreed to develop the shared Zora field around 40 km (25 mi) off the two coasts on the UAE.
The signing includes unitization for management of the shared field, gas sales and purchase agreements, and a joint operating agreement.
According to operator Dana Gas, discussions on the project are nearing completion, allowing a contract to be awarded for fabrication and installation of an offshore unmanned platform.
