Hallin Marine wins contract for project in China

Hallin Marine, a Superior Energy Services company, has secured a direct project contract with COOEC Subsea Technology Co. Ltd., part of the China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC).

JAKARTA, IndonesiaHallin Marine, a Superior Energy Services company, has secured a direct project contract with COOEC Subsea Technology Co. Ltd., part of the China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC).

The contract includes the support vessel SOV Windermere, a remotely operated submersible inspection vehicle, a diving team, and a range of surveying and engineering services. The scope of work will involve providing a subsea diving support vessel to perform both diving and ROV services. These will be used to complete a continuous subsea campaign of spools installation, along with inspection, repair and maintenance work in the Eastern South China Sea.

Scheduled to begin in 2014, the project has an estimated duration of six months, including options.
