HOUSTON – ConocoPhillips has started gas production from the Jasmine field in the UK central North Sea.

The company discovered thehigh-pressure/high-temperature gas/condensate field in 2006 in blocks 30/6 and 30/07a, roughly 6 mi (9 km) west of the company’s Judy platform. It is the largest new UK field onstream since Buzzard in 2007.

Development involved construction and installation of a 24-slot wellhead platform with a bridge-linked accommodation and utilities platform, a 6-mi, 16-in. multi-phase pipeline bundle, and a riser and processing platform bridge-linked to the existing Judy complex.

Jasmine’s facility can produce 140,000 boe/d.
