ABERDEEN, UK – Bibby Offshore has signed a charter agreement with Olympic Shipping for the construction support vessel Olympic ARES.
This will initially be a seasonal charter, starting at the end of March 2014, with options to extend.
The vessel will be mobilized with ROVs from sister company Bibby Remote Intervention.Olympic ARES’ features include a 250-metric ton (275-ton) heave compensated crane for subsea use and 1,300 sq m (13,993 sq ft) of clear back deck space.
Bibby Offshore plans to deploy thevessel for complex projects offshore the UK, Denmark, and elsewhere in the North Sea.
