LARNACA, Cyprus – Prosafe and Elf Exploration UK have agreed to keep the accommodation support rig Safe Bristolia at the Elgin-Franklin complex in the UK central North Sea.
The duration of the firm extension period is 61 days starting mid-October 2013, and the value is $15.9 million. Prosafe has granted Elf Exploration an additional 14-day option for the rig.
In the Norwegian Sea A/S Norske Shell has exercised a two-week option that will extend use of the support rigRegalia for the Draugen topsides campaign project through Nov. 10.
In the Mexican offshore sector, Cotemar Group has confirmed it will extend its contract forSafe Lancia until mid-October.
