BPZ Energy has spudded the A-18D development well at the Albacora field platform in block Z-1 offshore Peru.

HOUSTON – BPZ Energy has spudded the A-18D development well at the Albacora field platform in block Z-1 offshore Peru.
Drilling and completion could last up to 12 weeks, with a targeted depth for the well of around 12,000 ft (3,657 m) subsea.
This is the company’s second development drilling program on the block. It expects to issue an update on the first development well at theCX-15 platform before the end of this month. BPZ has also selected locations for the next Corvina and Albacora development wells.
