LONDON – Premier Oil says the Anoa Phase 4 additional compression project offshore Indonesia has been completed and production resumed last week.
The project will deliver an additional 200 bcf (5.7 bcm) of gas from the Anoa field via pipeline to Singapore.
Among the company’s other projects off Indonesia are the Pelikan and Naga gas field developments. The fields hold 150 bcf (4.2 bcm) of reserves and will be tied into the Gajah Baru facilities.
Fabrication of both wellhead platforms is nearing completion with load-out and installation scheduled by end-September. A rig contract has been awarded, with drilling due to start on the Pelikan platform wells following the monsoon season in 1Q 2014, followed by the Naga wells. First gas from both fields is slated for the second half of 2014.
Premier expects to start drilling the Kuda/Singa Laut prospect on the offshore Tuna block later this year. The well will then be side tracked in early 2014 to drill the Singa Laut segment in an adjoining three-way dip structure in the lower Miocene and Oligocene.
Around the turn of the year, the company plans to drill the Ratu Gajah exploratory well into the Lama formation sandstones on Natuna Sea block A.
Offshore Vietnam, tieback of the Dua satellite to the Chim Sáo FPSO is progressing. The subsea structures and equipment to tie Dua into the FPSO have been completed, and load-out and installation are sscheduled soon.
Drilling of the three production wells is planned to start this fall, with first oil from Dua targeted for the first half of 2014. The field will produce around 10,000 boe/d, and will extend plateau production from Chim Sáo.
